Russia: Bryansk farmers harvested almost 280 thousand tons of rapeseed

The target mark of 300 thousand tons of rapeseed, announced in October by the Department of Agriculture of the Bryansk Region, was not achieved by Bryansk farmers in 2023. Winter and spring rapeseed in the region is threshed on an area of 73.6 thousand hectares. Over 279 thousand tons of rapeseed oilseeds have been threshed. A year earlier, 217.7 thousand tons were collected in the region. A yield of 300 thousand tons would make the Bryansk region a leader in rapeseed production in the Central Federal District.
