Buckwheat prices in Russia have been falling for the second year in a row, according to a study by the analytical resource "Check Index" of the company "OFD Platform" for RIA Novosti. This is due to a record harvest of 2022-2023 and a large volume of reserves, with the median price for 1 kg of cereal being 3% lower than the previous year. Despite a 5% increase in purchases, the stable prices are expected to continue until the end of the quarter or the first half of the year due to the high supply volume.
