[Song Hae-chang, Korea Farmers' News Reporter] The Buyeo County Agricultural Technology Center will operate bean sorting machines until December 30 in preparation for the bean harvest. A total of five machines will be deployed, with three at the main branch (Nohwa-ri, Gyuam-myeon) and two at the southern branch (Mansa-ri, Imcheon-myeon). The usage fee is 2,000 won for 40 kg. The Buyeo Agricultural Center has also installed bean blowers at the sorting locations to remove dust and bean husks and other impurities in advance. The bean sorting machines can be used without prior reservation by submitting an on-site request from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. Kim Dae-hwan, Director of the Buyeo County Agricultural Technology Center, said, "Using the bean sorting machines can save time compared to manual sorting."
