By 2030, grain exports from Russia should amount to 75 million tons, and legume exports to 5 million tons, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maxim Markovich at the All-Russian Grain Forum. These indicators are provided in the Ministry of Agriculture's plans to fulfill President Vladimir Putin's decree on increasing agricultural exports 1.5 times by 2030 compared to 2021. The volume of grain and legume production should reach 170 million tons by that time. According to the agricultural agency's forecast, grain exports abroad this season will total 53 million tons, including 44.5 million tons of wheat, compared to a record 72 million tons in the previous agricultural year.
