Cabbage is becoming the most expensive vegetable in the borscht set in Ukraine

There is currently a rather limited supply of high-quality white cabbage on the Ukrainian market, according to analysts from the EastFruit project. At the same time, selling prices in this segment continue to rise rapidly. So, if last week the price for high-quality white cabbage in Ukraine was announced by farmers from 22 UAH/kg ($0.52/kg), today farms are ready to sell this product at 25-35 UAH/kg ($0.60-0.84/kg), which is on average 16% more expensive than at the end of the last working week. It is worth noting that the supply of white cabbage on the market is rather limited, since many farms prefer not to rush with sales, since they do not rule out that in the coming weeks the prices for this product may continue to rise.
