Regional governor Roger Guevara Rodríguez has inaugurated 31 reservoirs in Pomabamba, San Marcos, aiming to ensure a water supply for local farmers. The governor's government plan includes building 15,000 reservoirs to support agricultural production in the area, which is known for crops such as corn, alfalfa, avocado, and cape gooseberry. Farmers are asking for continued support for planting and water harvesting projects.
