[Korean Farmers' News Agency, Reporter Kang Jae-nam] The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Technology Institute (Director Ko Sang-hwan) announced the 2025 Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Farmer Award plan and will accept applications for award candidates. The Jeju farmers' awards will select one individual or group in each of the six categories: general crops, citrus fruits, eco-friendly agriculture, livestock, female farmers, and distribution and processing. Applications for the farmer award candidates can be submitted from the 25th of this month until the 5th of next month to the Technology Support Coordination Division and the Rural Vitality Team. The Agricultural Technology Institute will conduct written and on-site evaluations based on its own evaluation criteria, and the final award recipients will be selected after review and decision by the Farmer Award Committee. The awards ceremony will take place in November at the "Jeju."
