Camex extends anti-dumping on Chinese steel laminates for up to 5 years

The Executive Management Committee of the Foreign Trade Chamber (Camex) extended for up to five years the application of a definitive anti-dumping duty on "austenitic stainless steel flat products type 304 (304, 304L, and 304H) and ferritic stainless steel type 430, cold rolled, with a thickness of 0.35 mm or more but less than 4.75 mm, originating from China and Chinese Taipei." Brazil has been applying this measure on the Chinese product since 2013. The body also extended for up to five years the application of a definitive anti-dumping duty on "low carbon and low alloy flat products from conventional or continuous casting, which may be processed through conventional or controlled rolling and heat treatment, with a thickness of 4.75 millimeters (mm) or more, which may vary according to the resistance, and a width of 600 mm or more, regardless of the length (thick plates), originating from China, South Korea, and Ukraine."
