Canada's oilseed production is expected to decrease by over 1% in the 2024/25 season, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. The harvest is projected to decrease to 25.26 million tonnes from 25.581 million tonnes in the previous year, due to a 3% reduction in the planted areas of oilseeds. The harvest of Canadian canola, oilseed linseed, and soybeans are all expected to decrease significantly.
