In July 2024, Peruvian aguaymanto exports surged by 47% in both volume and value compared to the previous year, with 79 tons shipped for $553,000. The average price remained stable at $6.99 per kilogram. The number of export destinations increased to 13, with the Netherlands, the United States, and Germany being the top markets. The Netherlands imported 39 tons for $250,000, while the U.S. saw significant growth, importing 13 tons for $135,000. Germany, however, experienced a decline in both volume and value. The exports were primarily dispatched through Euroandinos Port Terminals, Jorge Chávez International Airport, and APM Terminals, involving 14 Peruvian companies.
