Between January and July of this year, Peruvian capsicum exports experienced a 4% decrease, totaling US$ 162,383,000 compared to the same period in the previous year. The United States, Mexico, and Spain were the leading destinations, accounting for 89% of the total exports. The most exported forms were dried capsicum, followed by canned, pasta, fresh, and frozen. Paprika was the main product within this category. The Exporters Association (ADEX) is organizing the First Capsicum Business Meeting on November 22 to discuss the sector's current situation, progress in research, and new opportunities, with expectations to attract over 300 attendees.
