Peruvian exports of capsicum (chili peppers and peppers) totaled US$ 112 million in the first four months of 2025, reflecting a 6% growth compared to the US$ 105,257,000 reported in the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the director of the Exporters Association (ADEX), Liz Soto Luna, who detailed that in the first quarter of the current year, paprika remains the most exported variety with over US$ 42 million and more than 15,000 tons, showing a -23% drop in value, but a 15% increase in volume.
