Konya, a city in Turkey, is projected to produce 385 thousand tons of carrots this year, which satisfies about 65% of the country's demand. This production is done efficiently with the help of machines for removing carrots and manual labor for bagging. However, farmers are facing high costs, especially in irrigation, and are hoping for a reduction in these expenses. Currently, the carrots are exported to countries such as Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Georgia, and Saudi Arabia. If the domestic market opens, the price is anticipated to rise to 4 liras per kilogram.
