Carrot prices have been experiencing a decline in June due to a rise in supply, attributed to favorable weather conditions that have improved crop development. Cepea researchers have reported that the majority of carrot production in São Gotardo (MG), Cristalina (GO), and Irecê (BA) is classified as "3A" in terms of quality. However, in Caxias do Sul (RS), crops have been adversely affected by excessive rains since late April, causing significant issues. Overall, phytosanitary problems have largely been resolved, and the carrot quality is reported to be excellent.
