The article reports on the conclusion of the olive oil campaign in Castilla-La Mancha, which has produced approximately 70 million kilos of oil, making it the second-largest producer in Spain. The region's Agriculture Minister, Francisco Martínez Arroyo, highlighted the sector's profitability and the contribution of the 'Óleo Pepillo' mill in Valdepeñas, which is the region's leading producer, accounting for nearly 10% of Castilla-La Mancha's total production. The mill's products are marketed in over 50 countries. To further support the olive sector, the region will provide specific aid of 42 euros per hectare under the next Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Additionally, the establishment of the Regional Vitivinícola Committee and the draft Law on Family Farming in Castilla-La Mancha are aimed at strengthening and supporting various agricultural sectors.
