The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Egypt has conducted a campaign to seize large quantities of expired goods, including dairy products and staples, from a wholesale store in Cairo. The campaign, led by Engineer Abdel Moneim Khalil, aimed to adhere to directives to control market goods and ensure only fresh, safe consumption. The seized expired goods were found to have expired between April and August of the previous year. A representative from the internal trade sector has been sent to the Public Prosecution to execute the seized quantities and prevent their circulation in the markets.
