Cempe harvest, breeders' smiles at the UPLAND Banjarnegara location in Indonesia

TABLOIDSINARTANI.COM, Banjarnegara---Smiles spread across the faces of goat breeders at the Development of Integrated Farming System in Upland Areas (UPLAND) Project location in Banjarnegara Regency. The success of raising goats was expressed by the people of Banjarnegara who turned out to celebrate the cempe (kid goat) harvest activities resulting from the UPLAND project and the Patok Festival. The activity was carried out as a form of gratitude for the good results of livestock development facilitated by the project which received grant funding from IFAD and IsDB. There are 33 farmer groups and 36 farmer women's groups from 23 villages spread across four sub-districts of Pejawaran, Kalibening, Pagentan and Batur spilling over into the Karangsari Village Field, Pejawaran.
