In early 2024, the prices of all monitored cereals in Poland's domestic market decreased, as reported by the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The price reductions ranged from 1% to 4% for various grains such as table wheat, consumer rye, feed barley, triticale, and 'dry' corn. Notably, consumer oats saw a significant decrease, being 18% cheaper than the previous year. Similar trends of grain price reductions were observed in foreign markets at the beginning of February 2024.
