Certification of horticultural products increases from Biobío ports

In the first half of this year, 13,778 exports were certified, of which 50% correspond to fruit and vegetable products, 48% to forest products and 2% to propagation material (Mundo Agropecuario). An increase in the phytosanitary certifications of fruit and vegetable products exported from the ports of the Biobío region has been registered by the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG). During the first half of this year, 6,916 fruit and vegetable products were certified for different markets, while in 2019 the SAG issued 9,551 phytosanitary certificates.
