Spain's meat exports to third countries in July were down 6.2% compared to the same month the previous year, totaling 141,483 tons, according to a report by CEXGAN. The accumulated exports for the year were over one million tons, but this represents a 21% decrease from the same period last year. The only subsector that saw an increase in exports in July was sheep and goats, while all other subsectors, including pork, beef, birds, and other meats and preparations, saw decreases compared to the same month the previous year.
