The following year, he planted 400,000 Taiwanese Wulong tea seedlings. "I chose Yongfu because its altitude, climate, soil, and latitude are almost identical to those of the Alishan tea-growing region in Taiwan," Mr. Xie shared. Yongfu Town is a key tea-growing area in Zhangping, located at an average altitude of 780 meters above sea level. The significant temperature difference between day and night, year-round mist, and ample diffuse sunlight have created ideal conditions for tea growth.
