At the Buenos Aires headquarters of Coninagro, the Association of Argentine Wine Cooperatives (ACOVI) presented a comprehensive economic study on Wednesday about the contribution of cooperatives to the economy of Mendoza. The report highlights that the wine cooperative sector contributed 184.430 billion pesos in Added Value to the economy of the main wine-producing province, representing about 30% of the value generated by the entire Mendoza wine industry. The Economic Impact Report of the cooperative wine system of the province of Mendoza defines other overwhelming data about the role of these types of social economy organizations.
