[Nongsuchaksan Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] At the end of autumn, Cheongyang is filled with the scent of chrysanthemums. Cheongyang County (County Head Kim Don-gon) announced that to commemorate "Farmers' Day," an 18-day "Cheongyang Chrysanthemum Exhibition" will be held at Jicheeon Ecological Park from the 31st of this month until the 17th of next month. This exhibition features over 3,000 chrysanthemum works directly cultivated from last spring in the demonstration fields by the Cheongyang Agricultural Technology Center. Various forms and varieties of chrysanthemums, including bonsai chrysanthemums, large-wheeled chrysanthemums, standing chrysanthemums, and spray chrysanthemums, are combined to create an autumnal atmosphere. Notably, the "Hyeonae chrysanthemum," which extends its thick stems downward to resemble the ancient trees on a cliff, and the chrysanthemums symbolizing Cheongyang, are on display.
