Chinese Coast Guard disrupts fuel and food supplies to Filipino fishermen

The Philippines’ National Security Council said on Sunday that a vessel from the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Authority was surrounded by a Chinese navy vessel and Chinese coast guard vessels while operating in waters off Sabina Shoal in the Spratly Islands. In a statement, the council said the aggressive and illegal actions posed serious risks to the safety of the Philippine crew.
