Chuvashia's authorities are planning to collaborate with Belarus to purchase seeds for crops such as corn, sugar beets, and grain crops, replacing foreign varieties. This is part of the broader agricultural cooperation between the two republics, which also includes hop growing and livestock breeding. Chuvashia is already experiencing success in this cooperation, with agricultural product sales to Belarus valued at $1.6 million and purchases of western seeds set to be replaced with local ones. The collaboration is showcased at the 'Field Day' exhibition in the Tsivilsky district of Chuvashia, which has seen a significant increase in labor productivity and crop yields over the years, largely due to state support and investment in updating agricultural machinery.
