According to the Economic Bulletin released by Emater/RS-Ascar this Thursday (30), the development of grapevines in Rio Grande do Sul is proceeding at varying rates across regions, reflecting climatic conditions and the cycle of each cultivar. In the administrative region of Caxias do Sul, late-cycle grapevines are in the flowering phase, while early-cycle ones have already reached the stage known as "pea" grain. In the vineyards of the Rio das Antas Coast, grapes intended for fresh consumption have begun the ripening process, showing good health and productivity conditions. In Santana do Livramento, in the Bagé region, grapevines are between flowering and the beginning of berry formation.
