Brasília (09/12/2025) – The Confederação da Agricultura e Pecuária do Brasil (CNA) participated, on Tuesday (09), in the event “Diplomats of Agriculture in Brazil (DAB)”, held at the Embassy of Colombia, in Brasília. The meeting brought together agricultural attachés and authorities to discuss the theme “Agriculture and new energy industries in Brazil”, focusing on biogas and biomethane. During the panel, the technical advisor of CNA, Eduarda Lee, highlighted the strategic role of the Brazilian agribusiness in the energy transition. In her presentation, she reinforced that the country has one of the most renewable energy matrices in the world and a great capacity to expand clean, sustainable, and competitive solutions. Eduarda also emphasized that agriculture is an essential part of this process, by integrating food production, energy, and sustainability, as well as emphasizing the potential of biofuels, which are fully integrated into agricultural production.
