Colombia has imposed restrictions on the import of U.S. beef and beef products from states where dairy cows have been found to have bird flu (H5N1) effective from April 15. The U.S. exports a limited amount of beef to Colombia, making it the only country to impose such restrictions due to the bird flu outbreak, according to the U.S. Meat Export Federation.
