Colombia's coffee production is projected to increase in 2024 due to favorable weather conditions, reaching 13 million bags and generating around 3.143 billion USD. As the world's third-largest coffee producer, Colombia has the capacity to produce 14 million bags per year. The United States and Canada, which account for 45% of total exports, are the key markets. With 842,000 hectares of coffee plantations and approximately 540,000 families reliant on the activity, Colombia experienced a 2% increase in coffee production in 2023, breaking a three-year decline.
