Dumping consists of selling products at prices below market value with the aim of eliminating competition. The meeting will be held in plenary 6, at 2 p.m. The debate is in response to a request by Deputy Domingos Sávio (PL-MG). He states that the objective is to hear authorities and representatives of the sector to assess the economic and social impacts of the drop in prices paid to the producer, the increase in production costs, and the growth of imports of powdered milk, especially from Mercosur countries.
