South Korea: Completed provision of 4,500 tons of rice to three Southeast Asian countries experiencing food shortages

Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation 4,500 tons of rice has been provided to three Southeast Asian countries with food shortages. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (aT) last set sail for Laos on the 1st, and distributed 4,500 tons of rice to three countries, including the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos, through the 'ASEAN+3 Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR)' held last year. In particular, an additional 2,500 tons of emergency support was provided to Myanmar, which was damaged by last year's typhoon, significantly increasing the amount of support compared to last year's 1,000 tons.
