The general manager of Conaprole, Gabriel Valdez, highlighted the cooperative's optimism towards an international dairy market that "continues to show dynamism and signs of recovery." The Executive Branch noted that international markets are currently going through a phase of high supply, a result of good weather, low feed costs, and attractive prices for producers. "There may be a surplus of milk in South America, but Chinese demand is starting to improve and that helps balance the market," explained Valdez. The Conaprole leader added that domestic production in China has fallen, which favors a gradual reactivation of imports by the Asian giant, therefore, the company expects to resume its presence there in 2026, where it used to be the second global supplier, with more than 20,000 tons exported between 2021 and 2022.
