Costa Food Group is set to make an investment in Paraguay for the establishment of a meat plant in the city of Naranjal, in Alto Paraná. This is reported by the media outlet Valor Agro, which assures that the project will be developed in conjunction with a local company and aims to boost pork and pig meat production in the South American country. An official announcement of this investment is expected by the end of October or early November in an event that would include executives from Costa Food Group alongside Paraguayan government officials, such as the president, Santiago Peña. It is planned to build a modern meat plant that will focus primarily on exporting to new destinations.
