(Goesan=Yonhap News) Reporter Yun Woo-yong = Chungbuk Goesan County announced on the 29th that Goesan cabbage with a crisp texture has been gracing Taiwanese tables for 10 consecutive years.
The Goesan Agricultural Cooperative Cabbage Farming Group held an export shipping ceremony at the Agricultural Cooperative Economic Comprehensive Support Center and launched full-scale exports.
This year's export volume is 937 tons.
Goesan cabbage, grown in a semi-highland area with significant temperature variations, is popular in Taiwan for its crisp texture, sweetness, and rich flavor.
A county official said, "We will actively work to expand export channels to increase farm income."
