Crushed soybean is expected to reach 13 million tons in Mato Grosso

According to the weekly analysis of the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural and Livestock Economics (Imea), released this Monday (20), from January to September 2025, the volume of crushed soybeans in Mato Grosso totaled 9.95 million tons, an increase of 4.08% compared to the same period in 2024 and 15.69% above the average of the last five years. The record in processing is related to the increase in demand for co-products and the expansion of the crushing capacity of industries in the state. According to Imea, "industrial capacity grew 4.21% in 2025 compared to 2024." In September, 870.44 thousand tons of soybeans were processed, which represents a decrease of 26.56% compared to the previous month and 5.73% below the same period in 2024.
