Despite challenging weather conditions in some areas, Damietta Port has managed to keep Al-Bughaz open, allowing 19 ships to dock and operate normally within the past 24 hours. The port has facilitated the export of 3,750 tons of cargo, which included 350 tons of alcohol and 3,400 tons of phosphate, and the import of 26,864 tons of cargo, predominantly grain. Additionally, the port has processed 344 containers for export and 886 containers for import, with a total grain balance in public sector storage reaching 156,562 tons. Furthermore, the port has facilitated the transportation of wheat to other regions, with a total load of 2,645 tons sent on two trains.
