In terms of countries of destination, as of October 2022 Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Russia and Colombia were among the top ten countries/regions to which China exported fresh or chilled garlic. Garlic exports in October achieved excellent results, with countries in Southeast Asia, South America and other regions making significant contributions. In Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Myanmar, etc., demand increased by 40%-170% compared to the same period last year. In Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in Western Asia, demand increased by 30%-40% compared to the same period last year.
