Dependence on energy: farmers in Ukraine are dissatisfied with the prices of raspberries for freezing

Ukrainian raspberry freezers have already announced the first prices for the purchase of the berry, although the season for the purchase of wholesale batches is just beginning. This was reported by EastFruit analysts. Advertised prices differ significantly depending on the region. In the central and western regions they are somewhat higher, while in the Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions the prices are the lowest. In the Lviv region, the average price is UAH 42-44/kg, which is equivalent to $1.00-1.05 or about 1 euro per kg. In the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, prices are closer to UAH 45-50/kg or $1.1-1.2. In the Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions, the price is about UAH 35/kg, which is equivalent to $0.85. Such prices do not excite farmers, although they are much higher than last year.
