In 2025, the corn seed market is showing growth of about 20% — due to improved grain exports and product prices, and the optimization of logistics costs. The demand for quality seeds remains stable, as farmers seek to minimize risks and achieve maximum yield even in times of war. The market share of counterfeit corn seeds decreased from 20% (520 thousand units) last year to 12% (340 thousand units) in 2025. Anna Gromakovsky, the head of operational issues for the Agricultural Division of Bayer in Ukraine, shared this information at a meeting of the Bayer Agricultural Media Club.
