REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,JAKARTA — The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) is developing the agricultural and livestock sectors in an integrated manner in the highland areas. Through the program “The Development of Integrated System in Upland Areas Project”, these activities integrate two important aspects, namely on-farm and off-farm, which are wrapped in an agribusiness system model through upstream to downstream integration (production, processing, marketing). Through this program, in Grabag District, Magelang Regency, Central Java, premium quality coffee from an altitude of 500 - 1100 meters above sea level has successfully penetrated the export market for the first time. A total of 17 tons of Robusta and Arabica coffee from the area have been sent to Dubai, UAE.
