The article highlights the significant fluctuations in the pricing of traditional and non-traditional leafy greens across countries like Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, as monitored by the EastFruit project. In some countries like Russia and Belarus, prices for greens such as dill, parsley, and basil have seen increases of up to 21%, 12%-13%, and 2.5 times the original price, respectively, due to increased supply and high summer demand. Conversely, Ukraine has experienced a decrease in basil prices due to low demand and high costs. These price changes have reordered the ranking of the countries with the highest green prices, with Ukraine now offering the most expensive dill in the region.
