The Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, in collaboration with the Muğla Governorship YİKOB, Kavaklıdere Municipality, and the Aegean Agricultural Research Institute, has launched the 'Population of Paradise Apple Project' to boost the production of persimmons in the Kavaklıdere district. The project aims to cultivate 5,000 paradise apple saplings across 100 decares, with 90% of the saplings provided as grants. In addition, a separate project will distribute 200 kg of Çayboyu bean seeds to 200 producers in a 10-decare area, with a total budget of 134,200 TL. This initiative is part of the new agricultural support model, aiming to increase the production of high-value crops and support local farmers.
