The Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters’ Association in Turkey is planning a trade delegation to Mumbai, India, in February 2025, as part of the Ministry of Trade’s 'Far Countries Strategy'. The goal is to increase Turkey's market share in India, which currently accounts for 6% of the country's annual dried fruit exports worth $1.7 billion. The Turkish companies will engage in business meetings with Indian buyers, wholesalers, retailers, and companies that use dried fruit, with the aim of reaching a 10% market share in the first stage and 20% in the medium term. The delegation will also participate in the MEWA India 2025 Global Nuts and Dried Fruits Fair, and organize press launches, cocktail, and tasting events.
