Due to the spread of local markets in the Gwangju region, vegetables are showing a weak trend.

The Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Office of the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (Head: Ko Jeong-hee) issued the 2520th issue of the Gwangju Jeonnam Agricultural Products Newsletter "Eremayo" to help local consumers shop wisely. According to "Eremayo," due to improved growth conditions, the supply of cabbage (1 head) and lettuce (green, 100g) has increased, with prices falling by 28.7% and 13.8% respectively over two weeks to 5,350 won and 1,000 won. However, due to insufficient sunlight caused by frequent rainfall and the supply transition period, the price of zucchini (1 piece) has risen by 22.0% to 1,830 won as the supply volume has decreased. Additionally, although fruit consumption has continued to slow down after the Chuseok holiday peak season, considering factors such as storage demand, the market remains attentive.
