Xingshida Township is increasing its agricultural product, cashews, to the Yangon market, with 570,000 bags sent in May alone due to foreign orders. The township's cashews are first processed into finished products and then sold in Yangon before being exported. The current price for cashews in the township is around 15,900-6,300 Myanmar Kyats. The region has approximately 65,000 acres of cashew trees planted in various counties of the Irrawaddy Province.
