Ecuador, mango season is projected to reach 12.2 million boxes

According to what was reported by the National Mango Board in its latest Crop Report, the Ecuadorian mango season should begin the third week of September. In this campaign, which is projected to last until the last week of December, a volume of approximately 12.2 million boxes should be reached. At the moment, Mexico (mainly South Sinaloa and North Sinaloa), Haiti and Brazil are harvesting and packing. Regarding the total volume of mango that was shipped the week ended September 4, 2021, the report indicated that it was approximately 2,919,974 boxes. In addition, it was detailed that the volume shipped from Mexico was approximately 2,035,004 boxes, resulting in a total of 74,038,464 boxes shipped for the season.
