The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will support wheat-flour fortification in Tajikistan, Trend reports via the EDB. The agreement was formally signed by Ruslan Dalenov, Deputy Chairman of the EDB Management Board, and Adham Mussallam, the UN World Food Programme (WFP) Country Director in Tajikistan. According to the EDB, the initiative is designed to address micronutrient deficiencies by increasing the use of fortified wheat flour.
