Last week, Egypt ranked first in fruit exports, shipping out 18,000 tons of citrus fruits among a total of 37,000 tons of fruits, including 5,000 tons of strawberries and 4,500 tons of dates. The majority of these exports were received by Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, and Turkey, with Cairo Airport Port being the most active in food exports. The National Food Safety Authority also inspected five school feeding warehouses and 12 dairies and milk collection centers in several governorates.
