The EU-backed deal, implemented through AICS, will fund the construction of five field silos, each with a capacity of 10,000 tons, in several governorates: one each in Dakahlia, Damietta, and Beheira, and two in Sharqia. The agreement also includes upgrading the ministry’s digital system to enable real-time tracking of national wheat stocks, improving data accuracy, monitoring efficiency, and supporting strategic planning.
