Embrapa Presents Around One Hundred Technologies at AgroBrasília 2025

The most well-known duo on Brazilian tables – rice and beans – will be highlighted at Embrapa's Technology Showcase at AgroBrasília 2025. Among the launches that will occur at the fair are the carioca bean and common bean cultivars, BRS FC 423 and BRS FS 212. For producers, the new carioca bean variety stands out for its productivity and industrial quality. For consumers, the gain is in the grain quality, which does not fall apart when cooked, and the consistency of the broth. The common bean cultivar from the rosinha commercial group, BRS FS 212, is an option for small producers seeking materials with high added value for direct marketing. By presenting resistance to Fusarium and Curtobacterium wilts, the cultivar provides a reduction in agricultural defensive use, enabling its insertion into agroecological production systems.
